Many pages were printed with faded ink, as if the printer was running low and they decided to still use the low ink pages. The book was more like a textbook rather than a review book that should've just hit the high points. Very long paragraph form reading, small font, no use of graphics. Overall, I wouldn't recommend using this as a review book, especially at its price. I returned this and bought the Barron's version for $20 less and felt like I was able to really get a good review of the important stuff in an outline form and with graphics without having to read massive amounts of information.

This is the first review book I purchased for my CCRN review. After finishing taking the practice tests, I decided to try another book.Barron's CCRN ExamPatricia Juarez MS APN CCNS CCRN-KI Spent about 2 weeks of self study with these books then the day before the exam, I gotAce the CCRN: You Can Do It! Very surprised at the amount of terms and phrases that are misspelled. I could have overlooked those but when Chapter 7 mentions the oxyhemoglobin dissociation curve being explained in further detail in Chapter 5 when it is NOT in that chapter AT ALL......that's ridiculous. The icing on the cake is someone failed to shake the toner when Chapter 3 was printed as several pages are so light I can hardly read them. For the price, I expected a better quality and put together book.

Bought this because it was well-reviewed & I used Kaplan to help prep for and pass my GRE a couple years ago. I like the narrative style of the text and that the content was more thoroughly explained than the Barron's book I also bought. But when I tried to access the online practice test, HUGE disappointment!!! Through some error I could not access the online content. I also tried calling the customer assistance number and waited OVER 20 MINUTES on hold without ever speaking to someone!!! I specifically wanted the extra online practice test because of the mock-testing format!! It's why I bought a Kaplan book!! Great book for reading but the online test was a dud.

This was my book of choice for preparing for the CCRN exam. I went over this book from front to back, and passed the CCRN with flying colors. It gives you the information you need to know for the test with just enough detail. Some of the other review books go into an excessive amount of detail that makes you feel like you are drowning in knowledge. The practice tests were equally helpful.

This is a good resource for preparing to take the CCRN exam. It covers critical care subjects in detail and also does so in understandable terms. The review questions and practice exams are quite helpful.

I love this book. It has everything necessary to prepare for the CCRN exam. It is straight forward and covers a lot of the important information that must be known by a critical care nurse. The practice questions are very helpful and I love the explanations for the answers.

Great reference guide for students, instructors and ICU nurses. It's easy to read. Would recommend this product!!
